Job Summary
Ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 Years of Commercial & industrial service, installation and some preventative maintenance HVAC experience. On the Job training is provided at regular intervals at our office and on field if required.
Responsibilities and Duties
HVAC service diagnostic, repairs all types of HVAC equipment and some installation for customers in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate.
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
3 to 6 Years Commercial & industrial HVAC service.
Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Gas Technician G2 or G1 license required.
1 year experience of working with sheet metal ductwork desired.
1 year Natural Gas / refrigeration piping experience desired.
Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
HVAC Diploma Program an asset (2-3 Year program)
Knowledge of electrical and controls.  
Clear criminal record.
G class Driver’s License required. (3-year driver’s record Required)
Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position like occasional lifting of 50 lbs or 25 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working height, working inside and outside in all types of weather environments that can be dusty, hot, cold and/or slippery.
Good command in both written and verbal communication.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical skills and ability to read circuit diagrams and layouts.
Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder.
Safety training certificates: Work at height, fall arrest, Lock out, WHMIS.  
Desire to have the ability to understand/learn new technologies like Electronics/electricity
Maintain company vehicle to a clean and safe standard.
Able to carry out emergency service calls after business hours.

Salary: $22.00 to $45.00 /hour
